Based on a true story, Norway Today begins in an Internet chat room. Julie, from Germany has announced that she is going to kill herself, and doesn’t want to do it alone. She wants a companion to join her in jumping off a 600m cliff
in Norway. August, from Adelaide responds to her request, and they agree to meet. Together they set out for their final destination equipped with a tent, some sandwiches and a video camera.
Julie and August long to feel something real and intense, and living to them can no longer simply mean just existing. However, in the rocky abyss over a Norwegian fjord, they are exposed to another kind of reality that could bind them to life…something stronger than death.
